wall street money never sleeps →

This movie was WAY too long. Shia LeBeof’s character wasn’t nearly as good as Charlie Sheen’s Bud Fox. He had a super expensive looking NYC apartment right from the beginning of the movie. It’s kind of hard to want to sympathize with a 20 year old rich kid. There was a completely unnecessary motorcycle race in it and too many plot lines (not that it was hard to keep track of them - there was just a lot of unneeded crap in the movie). Michael Douglas’ Gordon Gekko was its only redeeming quality. I checked IMDB and it looks like Oliver Stone and the other writer of the 1987 “Wall Street” came back for this one, but there were two additional writers involved. So, I guess I can’t solely blame Oliver Stone for crapping all over what could have been a pretty good sequel.
